I’m getting ready to hit the Telus festival in Whistler in March and a Nine Mile tour in July. If you’re around BC and Alberta please check back as I’ll be updating my horribly out of date tour list. I’m also so stoked to playing with Danny Michel later on in the year. I’ll get those dates out soon.

So, It’s been awhile. Sorry about that. It’s been a super busy time. Lot’s of music flowing, new tours, and many other things to come. This has been a very exciting time. I’ve been living and teaching in Northern British Columbia. It’s been quite a change from my old Toronto lifestyle. While some might think this could change ones creativity it has actually expanded my own.

At the same time my family world has grown to include a beautiful child. Marie and I, on August 22, 2011 welcomed Cadence Rain into the world. She’s awesome!

Music and life continues on, lots of beautiful things around us and many things to do. Lots of changes coming in music world so stay tuned. Like I said earlier, more tours this spring, new music and a new studio for me.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Cajon workshop at Islands Folk Fest in Duncan, BC. Nine Mile played two great shows at the festival and we got to see some other amazing artists!!

So, Brian MacMillan and I are on our way up to Northern BC to perform all over the Fort St. John area. Come check out the shows, workshops, and general music madness.

Nine Mile is also getting ready to make the drive from the east to the west. I’ll be meeting up with Dari, Scotty, Mel, and baby Kaya to make some music all over BC and Vancouver Island. Stay Tune for the dates!!

I’ve been putting off a new update because everything has been changing like crazy. I’ll be in a new location on the West Coast of Canada, performing with some new amazing artists, and conducting workshops both in Ontario and in BC. Just in the middle of a tour. We have two more shows to play in Vancouver. The city is bustling with Olympic excitement. Check out the tour dates to see the details.

Also, spent a few days on Quadra Island on a break. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
